Within the next few years these Maglev systems will be built and operating in the US and other countries. Our existing modes of transport have served us well, in the past, but fall short of meeting our transport needs in the 21st Century. Maglev can move people and goods with much greater mobility and speed, using much less energy, at lower cost, and with greatly reduced pollution, compared to the existing modes of transport.
